What we offer primary schools

Storytelling theatre

Who it is for: year 1
When: at the start of the new school year

What marks this out is telling or reading a story to still pictures that change as it goes along. The scenic way of telling opens up particular chances for a creative, aesthetic group experience — in watching just as much as in making and performing it yourself: painting, drawing, speaking, singing, acting, versifying, writing, imagining... The theatre-like frame draws the audience's eyes to what is being shown.
