Questions about the knowledge databases

What can I use your knowledge databases for?

All the information is editorially checked, fully citable and can therefore be used for coursework at school and university. But of course it is not only for those readers.

What do I need in order to use it?

You need nothing more than a valid library card.

What does it cost me?

Nothing. Thanks to our Friends of the Library, our digital services are free to use.

Where and how can I use it?

You can use it on any PC or mobile device at home, at work or out and about – provided you have internet access: brockhaus-login.owbib.de.

What are my login details?

You log in with the details you already know: your reader number and your personal password, the same as for your reader account in our online catalogue.

What to do if you have further questions or problems?

You are always welcome to get in touch. Outside opening hours you can reach us round the clock by email at info@owbib.de. We do our best to answer as quickly as we can, in the evenings and at weekends too.

If you notice a mistake or an inconsistency on our website, please let us know. Thank you!
