Dive into the world of smartphone content creation! Our workshop teaches you the essential basics of photography and videography and shows you how to get the most out of your smartphone and take great shots.

You will also learn, through hands-on exercises, how to shoot great video with your smartphone. From the best angle to working with light and shadow. Once you have your raw footage in the can, we show you how to turn it into striking videos with the smartphone app "CapCut". From editing to eye-catching effects to picking a soundtrack, so that your own video comes out just right.

Book your place now in our workshop and become a content creator. Come along!

You are also welcome to book with us directly at the library at any time, during opening hours or by email.

Questions about the workshops

What does it cost?

As a rule our workshops are free. If that is ever not the case, we will say so clearly.

Do I have to book in advance?

Yes. Places are limited.

Book by phone, during opening hours or by email at info@owbib.de, or through an online booking form – whichever is given for the workshop in question.

Where do the workshops take place?

As a rule they take place in the library's own rooms. Space here is limited, though, so the odd event may be held elsewhere. If so, we will say so clearly.

The meeting point at the start is almost always the library itself.

Workshops are generally not held at the same time as the library's opening hours. On the one hand our collection should be available to visitors as usual and undisturbed; on the other, those attending should be able to give the workshop their full attention.

Is everyone welcome to take part?

All our workshops suit children aged 10 and over, teenagers and adults alike. Everyone is welcome in principle — not just our own readers, but anyone from the pastoral care unit, from Haigerloch as a whole and beyond.

When is the next workshop?

Dates are published under events, among other places.

What to do if you have further questions or problems?

You are always welcome to get in touch. Outside opening hours you can reach us round the clock by email at info@owbib.de. We do our best to answer as quickly as we can, in the evenings and at weekends too.

If you notice a mistake or an inconsistency on our website, please let us know. Thank you!
