The conference move play create was held for the first time on 25 November 2022, on the theme third places as an opportunity for a sustainable educational landscape.

The conference looked at how much thinking, learning and working depend on where you do them. In principle they are possible anywhere and at any time. Movement, music, dance, sitting in the kitchen, a walk through the countryside, moving around the internet – alone or in contact with others, all of these can set learning going. But the potential for it lies in so-called third places in particular.

The conference examined the concept of third places and asked what an active educational landscape can contribute towards creating participatory, sustainable, fair and inclusive places for active, creative work, for meeting one another and for democratic debate.
